Homesick for a place I’ve never been. Ya Allāh, take us to Your blessed cities, where our hearts feel at peace. Ya Allāh allow us to always remain close to you and our beloved prophet ﷺ. Āmīn ya rab. 🤲🏽🕋🤍

As we’re coming towards this blessed month of Ramadān remember that if we can hold back and avoid things such as eating and drinking, things that are allowed and do it solely for the pleasure of God, then we can hold back when it comes to sins and wrong as well. In the Qur’ān, Allāh ﷻ tells us, “You who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may be mindful of God.“ [Qur’ān 2:183]

These angels on our shoulders, these kirāman kātibīn are very diligent in what they record and it’s so so important that we’re mindful and keep in check what we do and ensure it’s to please Allāh ﷻ.
